ABOUT THE GRANT 

The Backing Canadian Small Businesses grant program supports Canadian entrepreneurs facing economic hardship. 100 selected small businesses will each receive a $10,000 CAD grant and 3 months of mentoring to strengthen operations, marketing, sales, and leadership.

• Funding:10,000 CAD per business
• Application Deadline: June 9, 2025 (11:59 PM EDT)

ELIGIBILITY 

To apply, businesses must:

• Be incorporated and operating in Canada
• Be in operation on or before January 1, 2024
• Have 2024 revenue under $1.5 million CAD
• Be independent (not a franchise unless founded/run by applicant with <10 franchisees)
• Be owned by a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or valid permit holder
• Be owned by someone 18+
• Operate online or from a physical location
• Be comfortable in English or French
