The Giga Accelerator Programme aims to scale innovative solutions for school connectivity, green technology, and digital infrastructure in underserved regions worldwide. Backed by Giga, this program provides funding, mentorship, and networking to help enterprises scale their technologies while addressing critical challenges in global school connectivity. The accelerator is virtual with a focus on deployment-ready solutions, and participants will receive tailored support in areas like business strategy, financial readiness, and networking.

Selected organizations will be eligible for non-dilutive funding and mentoring to bring their innovative solutions to life, especially those designed to address challenges in low-connectivity environments.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Legal Registration: The applicant must be a legally registered entity in an ITU Member State
• Stage of Development: The product must have a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 4 or higher (proof of concept or prototype)
• Open-Source Commitment: The product must be an existing open-source project, or the applicant must commit to an open-source model
• Geographic Focus: The enterprise must operate in emerging markets, particularly in regions with low connectivity
• Operational Experience: The enterprise must have an established track record of operation and be ready to scale their solution
