About the Program

The Bayer Foundation Women Entrepreneurs Award 2026 is a 6 month accelerator for women founders leading revenue generating impact ventures in health and food security. Fifteen selected businesses receive structured support to strengthen their fundamentals, refine financials and impact metrics, and prepare for investor engagement, alongside a €25,000 cash prize, global visibility, and access to the Impact Hub network.

Program Benefits

World Class Mentorship & Training: Awardees work with a dedicated business advisor in 1:1 sessions and join monthly group sessions on business planning, financials, funding pathways, pitching, and communications.

Non Dilutive Cash Prize: Each of the 15 awardees receives €25,000 in non equity funding to grow and scale their venture.

Visibility & Recognition: Storytelling, media exposure, video content, and a high profile award platform help founders build credibility and reach new audiences.

Comprehensive Business Support: The accelerator focuses on business fundamentals, growth planning, investor readiness, and impact measurement over six months.

Network & Community: Awardees join a women led alumni movement and tap into the global Impact Hub network for peer support, collaboration, and local ecosystem connections.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Women founders, co founders, or senior leaders with decision making power.
  • Ventures in health and/or food security serving low and middle income communities in Asia, Latin America, Africa, and/or the Middle East.
  • Revenue generating ventures beyond idea stage, with annual revenue up to USD 1,000,000 and demonstrated traction.
  • Organizations incorporated on or before 1 January 2025, operating as social enterprises, hybrid models, or non profits planning a for profit entity within 12–24 months (registered charities and sole traders are not eligible).
Application Timeline

Applications: 2 March – 13 April 2026 (online application form).

June: 30 finalists pitch online; 15 awardees are selected.

June – November: Accelerator program runs with ongoing tailored support.

26–30 October: Sponsored trip to Amsterdam for Awardee Days and the Award Ceremony.
