Support Type: Pre acceleration and acceleration support, including mentoring, coaching, networking, visibility, fundraising support, and a linked monetary prize (entry token and Young Talent of the Year Award).
Funding Amount: Participants access a 3,000 euro entry token and can compete for a Young Talent of the Year Award worth 5,000–10,000 euros for the most promising ventures.

Program Focus: The programme supports renewable energy focused startups and entrepreneurial projects led by young African innovators, from concept validation through development and scale up.
It targets solutions in areas such as Technology, Manufacturing, Digitalization, Water Energy Food Nexus, Circular Economy, and New Business Models within the renewable energy sector.
Location: Solutions must address the African market, and applicants must either hold citizenship of an African country or have a startup registered in Africa.
RAISEAfrica is developed by RES4Africa Foundation, with support from Enel Green Power and the European Investment Bank, and in collaboration with EY Foundation, EDP, CSIR, and SAICA ED.
Up to six startups/entrepreneurs are selected to receive a comprehensive support package: Mentoring & Coaching, Networking & Visibility, Fundraising support, and participation in conferences, panel discussions, meet & greets, and site visits, all delivered in English.
Participants gain structured capacity building plus visibility to potential customers, partners, and investors through RES4Africa’s network and events.
The monetary component (3,000 euro entry token plus 5,000–10,000 euro Young Talent of the Year Award) provides targeted financial support to high potential ventures by the end of the programme.
Eligible applicants are entrepreneurs aged 18–35 whose solutions focus on the African renewable energy market and who have proficiency in English.
The startup must operate in the renewable energy sector, and women and work groups are encouraged; team composition must be clearly listed, and each person may only be in one application.
